Body-Centered Expressive Therapy (What is it?)

BCET is aimed at integrating the body and mind into wholeness. It provides support and/or insight for problems that keep people from living a full and happy life.

It addresses a wide variety of issues including physical pain, grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, poor body image, overeating, indecisiveness, relationship difficulties, career changes, stress or any number of other common barriers to a satisfying life.

Through the use of art, movement, dialog, role play and body awareness, you are able to acess your own healing potential.  The assumption behind BCET is that your body, mind and spirit is always moving towards wholeness.  All that is required is some facilitation by an objective listener and observer.  The assumption is not that something is wrong with you, but that something is standing in your way.
